Donna has taught in NSW, SA and Victoria. She has held a range of leadership roles in schools. For the past ten years, Donna has worked for DEECD holding a diverse range of roles including Early & Middle Years Numeracy Project Officer, supporting the Teaching & Learning Coach Initiatives, supporting school improvement as a Network Improvement Officer, Manager of Student Learning and currently is a Performance and Planning Adviser and a Performance and Development Champion. During this time she has undertaken part-time PhD studies and has managed to combine her passion for school improvement with a new found passion for research.
Annika studied Creative Arts and graduated in 2009 with First Class honours in Creative Writing. She studied her Graduate Diploma of Primary Education in 2010 and taught in Ballarat for three years until the birth of her son. She is a passionate and creative teacher with a real love for literacy, an emerging love for numeracy and a “working towards standard” in Physical Education. Annika worked at a University Student Theatre and Film Office whilst at University as an Office Manager and Graphic Designer and was the editor of La Trobe University’s The Player.
